Had to get a grinder and a Scotch brite wheel.

Built a nice 4x4x7 paint booth so I could prime parts anytime day or night.

Here's the vent fan that almost collapses the booth even with 4 vent holes in the top of the roof
It cost $.50 so if it crusts up with paint I'll replace it, I bought 2 for a dollar.

Here's the table where I'll prime and paint my parts.

I bought a tool kit from AVERY TOOLS. Its a kit they suggest buying for getting started on an RV.

I saw this idea to embed the C-frame into the work table on someone's website and seemed like a good
idea if you had to dimple all by your lonesome.

12-03-03 Picked a regulator/filter, Uni-bit, C-clamps, air hose swivel,
spring clamps, 4 #30 drill bits and a 6" #30 drill bit, 1/4" carbide bit for the Dremel,
#30 reamer, and some belts for the belt sander.

Here's an air connection I added to my building table.

Here's the connection for the paint gun in the booth with a regulator and filter.

Got a 12x12x1 slab of steel to use as a back plate to rivet on.
I will embed this into the table as well when needed.

This is my 3x rivet gun with its regulator and swivel and dedicated hose.

Averys deburring tool with a 5/32" and 1/8" countersinking bits.

3M rivet tape.

Every picture I've seen of these has been deceiving. Dang this squeezer is BIG!
The only reason I cashed out on this is because Dan Checkoway said it makes things
go a lot faster and easier on the hands and after riding in Phils RV-6 things must move on!
I don't know why every place you see sells just the body for $450 and you have to buy
the yoke for another $150. I got this one with the 2 1/2" yoke for $425.00

These are the fluting pliers needed to adjust the ribs.

Since I got squeezer I got a squeezer set.

Boelube makes drilling faster and easier on the drill bits.

Here's the small hose from Avery. Its very nice and notice how small the coupler is compared to a regular size.
It's like a mini coupler set.

Here is a bucking bar I had my friend Ted make to buck the rivets on the trailing edge of my elevator.
He designed it to fit left and right ends of the elevator. Worked like butta....

Also was in need of a Longeron yoke so he whipped me one up with some 4130. Ted Cloer is a top notch machinist
not to mention an OK friend. ;o) Thanks Ted!!

Added another air connection to my work table. I was getting tired of turning the pressure
down for the rivet gun and back up again for the squeezer so I just added a chuck with it's
own regulator.

This is a CDI torque wrench I got off of Ebay brand new for a really good deal.

Got a 4" yoke for the squeezer. For some rivets it's nice to have the reach.
I'd rather squeeze than buck...

It's lots bigger than the 2 1/2" yoke.

Liquid Boelube for ease of application when drilling.

Got these rivet gun dimple dies for the dimples in the top and
bottom rudder ribs.

This tool has been great for deburring. It turns about 120rpm and I welded a nut
to a bit in order to screw the countersink bit in and bang! bang ! bang! A jillion holes!

Avery sells one of the nicest hand squeezers I've seen.

I use this drill for most everything. I bought it just before I knew I was
going to build an airplane and it came with 2 batteries. Never have to wait
for a battery to charge.

Bought this a while back when I was building the metal railing to go around a deck I built.
Got it at Dixie Tool Crib in South Austin. It can be used horizontal or vertical.

Averys dimpling pliers.
