
Heres the Latch assmebly installed. Make no mistake. The latch assembly must be bolted together
as a unit and then riveted in place after dimpling and countersinking. I riveted the upper angle in as
a single part while holding it with Clecoes. It shifted during riveting and I had to drill out all the rivets.
I also had to use oops rivets in the upper angle due to the hole sizes in both the skin and angle.
I thought I was gonna have to install a Stanley door knob after I realized this mess! Anyway it all
worked out in the end.
This is also an area that is best to have someone bucking. The parts are so flimsy one slip and you
end up with 1 and a half smiley like I did.


I couldn't bear using that yellow plastic knob. The feel of this Graphite T handle was much nicer and not
nearly as bulky. I can actually get to the release lock much easier now.
