Flap motor and brackets are installed.  Here is the first mount I made from some angle per plans.

Riveted the bottom mounts on the motor channel.

Added the plate nuts.

Made the top channel bracket and installed.

Sometimes there is interference where the motor channel meets the canopy latch and requires a little forming

of the tube to get some clearance.  I slightly bent the latch tube away from the channel in the middle.  This

is not the pic of the area I was referring to but I wanted to post it anyway.

Screwed the base down.

Clamped the top to drill the mounting plate using existing holes in the bulkhead.

This is where the flap motor mounts at the top of the channel.   Note: no holes drilled in the angle at this time.

You must install the flap weldment to get proper alignment of flap motor.  Then clamp the angle and drill

using the holes in the front of the channel.
