My AV-10 came in so I stuck it on for grins.

Decided to attach the Horizontal Stabilizer and move forward with building.  These are 2 of the bolts that

attach the front HS spar to the rear deck.  The outside bolt hole must be drilled through the HS angle, spacer,

longeron and horizontal angle underneath.  There is at most an 1/8" for error in location.  Note: I am using

castle nuts temporarily here for ease of removal.

These are the 4 bolts on the rear HS spar.  You must set incidence here before drilling as well as alignment.

I measured from the tip of the HS to the front edge of the firewall on each side.

Built the Elevator bellcrank.

I had already drilled the Elevator horns for the pushrod bearing so it was time to build the Elevator pushrod.

The manual speaks of cutting paper and wrapping it  around the tubing to determine proper spacing of the 8

 holes to be drilled.

Installed bellcrank.

Primed the Elevator tube inside and out and riveted the ends.  I recommend marking like I did here after

match drilling the end.  Otherwise you will have fun figuring out how it was located.

Here's a shot with it installed.  This stuff is so sweet!
