11-17-03        Began construction of Empennage.

01-21-04        Overnighted my loan application to NAFCO so I could order the rest of the kit

01-30-04        Loan at NAFCO approved, faxed order forms to Vans and reserved my N number - N808TX

02-02-04        Confirmed Vans received order forms and am told 16 weeks till finish kit will ship

                     which will delay entire order arrival

02-09-04        Added regulated air chuck to other end of work table

02-10-04        Ordered 4" yoke for my squeezer from Vans

02-17-04        Barbara informed me that my kit (fuselage and wings) will ship mid March

                     Finish Kitt will ship when available for an additional $140

02-29-04        Rearranged and cleaned entire shop in preparation for delivery of fuselage and wings

03-01-04        Spoke with Barbara at Vans.  I'm #16 on the list and they just got 12 7's.  Should put me at #4 on the list.

03-11-04        Spoke with Barbara at Vans.  They just got 4 7's and I'm # 5 on the list.

03-11-04        NAFCO sends another set of paperwork to have notarized again.

03-12-04        Overnighted paperwork back to NAFCO

03-16-04        Spoke with Barbara at Vans.  I'm #7 on the list now.  They expect more kits on the first of April?

                     I question the inconsistency and am told " I don't even have payment from you yet"

03-17-04        Spoke with Scott Risan (General Manager of Vans) regarding inconsistent list and dates.

                     He calls me back to say they expect a shipment the 25th and one of these will be mine.

03-17-04        Spoke with Jim Jasen at NAFCO and am told this kit funded on the 16th (yesterday)

03-17-04        Called Scott back to tell him it HAD funded and I'm feeling a little uneasy with them having

                      all the money and not having the kit yet.  He understands and will keep me posted.

03-25-04        Still no kits have come in per Barbara.

04-02-04        Kits have arrived at Vans.  Overnighted balance to Vans.

04-05-05        Confirmed payment arrived at Vans.

04-12-04        Received call from Brian Hathaway to verify no damage fuselage and wings prior to crating.

04-13-04        Received call from Barbara at Bestway Solutions  (877-450-4691) all crates were picked up

                     at Vans and should arrive on 04-19.  Total shipping billed is $957.43 ???  Yippie!  

04-26-04        Fuselage and Finish Kit arrive undamaged!

04-27-04        Wings arrive undamaged!
