I didn't take many pics of the separate parts I fabbed for the heat muff valve but here is how it turned out so far.

I left more of the material around the hole in order to mount anther type of scat tubing flange on top.  Apparently I hear the jinky one Vans

supplies cracks fairly quick from vibration.  I couldn't have any of that happening.

I then added the lever.

Cut a little clearance here.

I then checked to see if I was going to be able to fit a small length of scat tubing here.  Looks like it will work fine.

The lower flange will be raised on the aft side when mounted and actually point towards the heat muff tubing more.
