
Installed the Spark Plug wire insulators.



I filled this area with Super Fill to flatten it out a bit and then re-sprayed with some gray paint.

I also filled a few other areas and sprayed them too. Shown here is after I had applied mold release and a layer of PVA sprayed on my part.

I then mixed up my PMT&W Epoxy Surfacer and applied one layer to my part.



After this layer had hardened somewhat I then applied another layer for full coverage.

After the second coat of Surfacer had set a bit, I began to lay up my fiberglass layers. I used BID around the inlet ramps and then mat on the rest.



The next morning I separated the part from my newly formed mold. The PVA (purple tinted stuff) transferred to the molded part and easily washes off
with water.



I then trimmed it to match the old part.

I will sand the new mold a bit smoother, wash the PVA off and fill a few areas where I think need attention.
