Installed the engine mount.  After bolting the 4 corners in place I noticed I had a bit of space between the 2 mounting holes

on each side of the nose gear.

As you can see here the Facet Pump nutplate and bolt needs to be ground away quite a bit to clear the mount.

Heres a shot o how the corners looked.

This one has about 1/8" gap.

This one has about 3/32" gap.

I posted a message on www.VansAirforce.net asking what others had done here.  Dan suggested using spacers made from .063

So I cut out a couple sqaures, drilled a 1/4" hole in them and screwed them to and arbor in my drill and belt sanded them

to the correct diameter, them drilled the hole to accommodate the 3/8" bolts.

I moved my wires leading back into the Fuselage through this Eyeball.  These things aren't as easy to install as one might

think.  But when its done it is fairly nice.
