Closed in one of the HS tips using cardboard.

Added the glass on top.  This piece of card board will live in the tip for eternity not to mention add a bit

of strength.

Filled in the edges with a bit of cotton fiber filled epoxy.

This is the tip for the other side.

Here is is with the top plastic removed.  Nice and smooth.  A piece of plastic or plexiglass would have

worked great here.  It would have been perfectly flat.  Learn from me for free!

Fitted the rudder bottom.

First I trimmed it along the line Vans has scribed into the gelcoat. But I had to trim the cutout a bit larger to

 fit it over the horn.  Doesn't look like you would have to but I did.
