Tried my hand at rolling the edge of the right elevator with a 1" galvanized pipe.  You can only

roll it so far until you are hitting the front spar.  Then you have to roll it by hand and it isn't

easy!  I think a 3/4" pipe would give you a better tighter roll.

 

Here's what it looks like clecoed. 

 

This section is another story.  Shorter material means harder to roll by hands.

It's going to need some more work obviously before riveting.

 

As you can see here it's holding all those clecoes sprung out.  It's some mean stuff!

 

These 2 pics are to show the dip in the tip of the elevator from not squaring the end rib flanges

enough.  It will look fine when I fit the fiberglass tip on later.
