I fitted the upper Cowl to firewall and drilled #31 holes where I plan to place my MilSpec  camlocs.

This is a little tight between the spinner back plate and the cowling but I'll fill the rear and sand to shape later.  This area

leaves a little to be desired in  overall fit/shape.

I trimmed the tab strip in order to allow bending if needed later.  Notice I also left 1/4" just ahead of the firewall for the cowling

to rest on between camlocs.

I made the strips in 7 sections. 

The top corner ones actually have a compound curve and need special shaping on the edge

that is next to the firewall.  Along the top curved edge there is a bend in the firewall so trimming is needed to follow this shape.
